The First Words

In the beginning . . .

Perhaps this is where the phrase, “Best to begin at the begining,” came from? For Christians, the beginning of our belief system starts at the first paragraph, page, and book of the bible. Science appears, by outward and inward appearances, to reject entirely this book called the bible as myth, story telling, or even balderdash at it does not equate with their “intellectual” studies of one discipline or the other. Would they be surprised to know that all of their studies are trying to figure out what God created in the first place? Not that they would admit this, as they are lofty thinkers and not subject to any but the formulae they have created to better understand perfection in all the chaos, as the universe appears to them.

It is bromidic to listen to the “experts.” They appear to know not what they study, learn, and go on and on about in their thesis and profundity. Do they not understand that God’s work is beyond their limited- by-being-earthbound studies? Not all, of course, but those who deviate from the scientifc method by researching according to what the bible tells us are roundly castigated. Interesting isn’t it? A narrow mind is self-limiting as has been the case since day one.

Stretching the mind beyond its staid and ironed out limitations is always more fulfilling and that is what so many find when they read and understand the bible. God is not interested in our “science.” That is what scientists fear the most and why pogroms against Christians have taken place. “Stupid and ignorant” Christians who dare to challenge their stoic science for the “creation theory.” It is not a theory it is an explanation of a singular mind in control of what we do know and all of what we don’t know. It is this impossibility which is the limiting factor of gaining faith and, thus, eternal life. Oh, it is all so plebian and such mass hysteria. No, it is a truth extremely difficult to comprehend when we live on one tiny planet which is a singular jewel in a universe so vast that we probably have no business trying to understand.
