As I mentioned in another post, I will begin placing quotes here as I go but also links for you to research and I highly recommend researching! This below is the first and it is about understanding the bible.
There are many factions who tell us they know what the bible tells us and it comes down to what you can garner for yourself in that case. A prayer to God through Christ before you begin is always a wonderful thing to do. I mean this quite truly as prayer is the way God gave us to speak to Him. It works is all I can tell you. Understanding the bible with prayer will lead you to answers and sometimes unexpectedly.
The photo included is of the Gulf of Tonkin, off North Vietnam, and is taken from just aft the bridge of our ship’s port side. It was here that God first answered a prayer for me to survive that war.
