Then he said to them: “Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be great earthquakes, and in one place after another food shortages and pestilences; and there will be fearful sights and from heaven great signs.Luke 21: 10, 11
With Russia and Ukraine at war we need to look back in time also as the last century and this century, starting out, are exhibiting all these signs.
Never consider the present as the only marker laid down by the Bible. The Bible tells us that the signs will take time and that means we have to watch and learn history as the time God uses is not the time we use. His is everlasting and ours is fleeting. Therefore, we stumble ourselves by not looking backward.
The devil is unleashed on the Earth now and has been for over a century. Look back to World War One and notice that it is peculiar, in that, it is not only the first time the world went to war in total, but the first time a mechanized war was possible. Each successive war has offered greater weapons until the end of World War Two, which ushered in the atomic bomb. The “end-all, be-all” of weaponry.
If you take history into account and stop saying this has always been the way of mankind and allow yourselves to see the stark reality of our weaponry as it has progressed. From stone, to arrow, to mechanization, and then atomic, you see the steady progression from which the end has finally emerged. There is no possible world war now as has always been. The next war between nations is the ultimate war. The good news is this is the way it has to be, for so it is written. It proceeds apace. Yet, it is not too late for those who do not believe. This is the reason you are given the time but that time grows shorter by the hour. The separation of the sheep from the goats in ongoing.
