2 Timothy 3

Spread the love

You, however, continue in the things that you learned and were persuaded to believe, knowing from whom you learned them and that from infancy you have known the holy writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.  All Scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight, for disciplining in righteousness, so that the man of God may be fully competent, completely equipped for every good work.

2 Timothy 3: 14-17

This is a letter written to Timothy, a man of great faith, by Paul, a disciple of Jesus. At this time Paul was imprisoned in Rome for his Christian faith and Timothy was then in Ephesus, near modern day Turkey.

This book is recommended reading for those who are beginning study. It is a very important work describing what we all go through in our faith. Try it on for size and, if you’ve a mind, comment here after reading it. I can easily make this website interactive. But, that is up to you.
