I will begin here by stating, flatly, that I am not a wonderful human being. I’ve been to war, screwed around, drank more booze than is normal, and by doing these things almost died, more than once. I come to this website having changed many of the things I did and after seeking forgiveness and then finally understanding that forgiveness is gladly given. Not by humans so much as by God but, only through His Son, Jesus.
This, then, is the truth I have learned that is far and away above that half-baked truth of we here on Earth. This is the most difficult thing for humans to wrap their heads around. God is real. Jesus did actually live, and the bible is the sum of all truth. That is what sticks in the craw of academics and arouses their penchant to argue against anything they cannot see; except for the wind. I bring this to you as an imperfect man who should not have lived these seventy-seven years. How this came about I do not know. I look at life with no superstition whatsoever. It is our one and only life and we need to understand what it is about. Hence, the toil and the worry and the happiness we all have in fair measure.
