“In the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed. And this kingdom will not be passed on to any other people. It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it alone will stand forever.Daniel 2:44
The seventh angel blew his trumpet. And there were loud voices in heaven, saying: “The kingdom of the world has become the Kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he will rule as king forever and ever.”Revelations 11:15
Consider these two quotes having to do with the New Earth coming under the Kingship of the Christ. It is, according to many, occurring now as these appear to be the times prophesied.
Always, take some time to read these for context. Without context others can lead you astray. Jehovah will not.
The “Kingdom of the World”
What could be meant by the “Kingdom of the World?” Quite simply, it is best thought of as the nations (kingdoms) of the world if we know that the world is considered the human system of this world. It is not God’s intended system and that has foundations back in the Garden of Eden when Adam and Eve sinned against God and were summarily dismissed from both the Garden and perfection. “The wages of sin is death,” they were told by God. Perfection does not die. We die because we are imperfect.
The kingdoms of the worlds ending is the coming of Jesus. If you think any of this to be mythological I am sorry as you are not aware enough of the Bible and how it molds the fact of our true existence. This world is a sham as writer’s have long speculated but it is still our reality. However, it is not the reality which God had intended. In matter of fact, we were never intended to die which may be the reason we are repulsed by death.
