Now the works of the flesh are plainly seen, and they are sexual immorality, uncleanness, brazen conduct, idolatry, spiritism, hostility, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, dissensions, divisions, sects, envy, drunkenness, wild parties, and things like these. I am forewarning you about these things, the same way I already warned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit God’s Kingdom.iGalatians 5: 19-21
How many of these sins are we seeing today? Are you one of these? I certainly was but I have “seen the light.” I found the “light” in these words and these words are in the Bible. It is because of how wonderful I feel now having left these behind that I am writing this at all. In no small part am I attempting to open a door unto new ways of thought be putting this website up. To bear witness to the wonder that is Scripture.
Certainly, there are many detractors citing one phrase or another or taking so much out of context as to make in unpalatable to those not familiar with contextual minutiae. The Bible is a life long pursuit available in small morsels at a sitting. It is not some insurmountable edifice blocking your road. Instead, it is available to you in small bites and each small bite lends itself toward understanding from where the word comes. It is that new understanding of God’s glory that lifts us up from where we sit so forlorn.
These times are times of trial. It is only in one place that you will find the answers you are looking for and which will lead you to those still waters of peace and tranquility: the Bible. God’s Word to you, personally.
