You’ve been considering whether you believe in God or not. What or who is this being the Bible is written by. How was the Bible written and who was it written for. Lastly, is what the Bible says true or is it myth. Another category of this wonderment is, who are these people who believe in God and the Bible. Are they for real or just on another tangent away from the mainstream.

These above are statements that I’ve heard over many decades; not years. It is something we all consider from time to time until we begin to understand the power of prayer for each person who prays. In popular culture prayer makes the news from time to time as things miraculous happen when many pray for a person to get well or even live when death is at the door. I am in no position to say if this is miraculous or not. I am in the position of telling you what prayer has done for me and it is far from a miracle unless you consider the changes it makes in a person’s outlook.

Let’s start with a quote from the Book of Psalms:

O Hearer of prayer, to you people of all sorts will come.

Psalm 65:2

This passage tells us that God hears any who come to Him. Whether He acts on your prayer depends. For those in Russia, China, anywhere else in this world He awaits your prayers. He doesn’t see nations or boundaries He sees you as a person. There is a lesson in this for all of us who breathe.

Jehovah God wants us to address Him as Father. For this He is for all who live now or will ever live. He, Jehovah, is your Father.

“You must pray, then, this way: “‘Our Father in the heavens, let your name be sanctified.

Matthew 6:9

Pray in the name of His Son, Jesus, or He will not hear your prayers. You see how Faith is a package of understanding more than this world allows? Think on it. Consider your needs versus your wants. He knows exactly what you need and His answer may surprise you. It has me and I am doing this, in part, to tell you how much love you receive from His hearing your prayers. It is the rock you are looking for and a mighty rock it is.

In that day you will ask me no question at all. Most truly I say to you, if you ask the Father for anything, he will give it to you in my name.

John 16:23

Jesus died for us. This has been used in cynical ways and without love or understanding of His Son’s sacrifice. This is another story that you should pursue as it will take you back to the Garden of Eden. We will get there, you and I.
