2 Timothy 3:16
Not all prophecy directs toward the future. However, Jehovah did reveal to the prophets what He needed us to know to further increase our faith as the world’s history unfolded. This so that we wouldn’t be caught sleeping when His judgement came. The last book of the Bible, Revelations, is the last book of the last scroll that God inspired to be written. This warns us in terms symbolic of what we were going to see. God also told us that things would become clearer toward the days of judgement. I believe I can say that this is absolutely true to all but the willfully ignorant.
