“Sum of Truth”
I took some time this morning to write of the principle I understand as true for the meaning of this website. For some, this is an introduction to a way of looking at the life we never asked for but were given, like it or not. I put it that way as I know that many are they who understand not what life is really about. Even with the hints that God has given all of us, such as how short a time we are on this garden of a planet. The question then becomes, time to do what?
On this page I write quite frankly of what I have learned after almost seventy-seven years (in two months) of making mistakes, paying not enough attention to what God tells me, and screwing up more stuff than you can shake a stick at. By “stuff” I mean those things unexpected in life but come out of the darkness to smack you over the head. Vietnam was one of these.
It is said that with age comes wisdom. On that I disagree. With age comes time to actually think of what your life and all the mistakes you’ve made will lead to. Wisdom comes from the pages of the bible as this is God’s word, despite what the ignorant try to tell us. And, we are surrounded by ignorant loud mouths. Such a cacophony of blather from those who chose not to look beyond the everyday.
I hope that you derive a sense of compass from what I put there as our compass needs to be tuned to the universe rather than north or south. There is so much more than meets the eye and it is up to us to find it: no compass, no map, just the bible, and, this is exactly why God gave us that book. To find our way in a life that is pleasing to Him, therefore, insuring we see eternity. It isn’t amenable to desire, greed avarice, or lust or breaking law. It is strict until you understand the reasoning behind what it tells us. Then, we feel a loving embrace.
